VOR stands for Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range. It uses a network of fixed ground radio beacons operating between 108.00 and 117.95 MHz (VHF band) to permit aircraft with the proper receiving equipment to determine its position and remain on course. Swager Communications designed and provided a platform to support the multiple antennas necessary for the system.
