Swager Communications, Inc. was selected by the US Air Force to redesign their standard radar tower to accept the ASR-9 radar more than 30 years ago. This tower, designated the AB-1368/F radar tower, became the standard upon which our radar towers have been designed and produced since that time. More than thirty of our radar towers have been deployed in places ranging from the United States, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa. Heights ranging from 17 ft. to over 100 ft. are available both with and without overhangs. There is also a modified version which expanded the platform area to permit use of a mobile radar unit. Mounts for various radar units and radomes are available to meet customer needs.
